NOTD: Glitter Nails

I love these glitter nails, perfect for any Christmas parties.
They are really simple to do.

Follow the steps:
1) Since I was using blue glitter I decided to use blue nail polish under incase any gaps peeked through.
So I applied 1 coat Essence's 'Groovy' and let it dry.

2)Then apply the same polish to one of the nails you had let dry and don't let this coat dry, pour your glitter over the wet nail. (Make sure you do this over a piece of paper so it catches the leftover glitter so you can put it back in the bottle. I used glitter from the craft store, don't use expensive stuff like the MAC glitters as it'll just be a waste when the glitter from craft stores are perfectly fine. You can even mix different colours into a jar and create your own customized colour.) Then repeat this on all the other nails, make sure as to only do one nail at a time of the polish will dry. Make sure to tap off any excess glitter.

3)Once they have dried apply a clear top coat, either pour some out of the bottle onto paper and clean the brush after you've painted all the nails or if you don't want to pour it out clean off the brush every time before dipping it back into the bottle so you don't get glitter in the polish.
I then just applied another coat of the clear polish after the other one had dried.

And you're done!!
Have fun!

Outfit of the Day: Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian
I know she's is the outfit of the day a lot, but when I seen this outfit I just had too pick it.

The whole look is perfect, glad she pulled her hair back, her big flowy mane would have been too much with this look. Her bag and shoes are amazing! And I love the olive green scarf (compliments her skin colour perfectly) and white tank to break up all that black.

Wowsers!

Kelly Osbourne on the cover of Shape magazine.
Looking absolutely amazing! Flawless!

Kelly has drastically changed over the past year, since beginning strenuous dance lessons for Dancing with the Stars she lost around 50 pounds, she kept up the hard work and it has most definitely payed off.
I've read that she commits herself to a half hour a day exercise to maintain her weight, but will do a bit extra if she feels like it. She also does the Bar method and pilates.

More pictures after the jump of Kelly's fantastic new body and fashion to match!

Yay Haul!!!

Click the jump to see my haul...^-^

Eye look of the day

I was only going shopping so I didn't want anything to heavy, this is kinda neutral.
I used MAC's 'Woodwinked' e/s all over the lid with a 239 brush and blended up towards my brow bone using a 224 brush and used it under my bottom lashes with the 239 again, I then used 'Mulch' e/s along the top lashes with the same 239 and used the same colour blended on the outer 3rd of my lid and brow bone with the 224. I lined my waterline with Gosh's 'Truly Brown' eyeliner. I fill my brows in with any suitable brown eyeshadow on a 266 brush. The mascara on my top lashes is one coat of Maybelline Falsies.

Mini Haul

Picked up a few things, not all beauty or fashion related!

Gorgeous gold colour drop earrings with jade stones.

More after the jump...

Nails of the day: Comic Nails

Super fun nails to do!
Pardon how messy they are, I was in a rush but still wanted something different to the usual.
My hands are super dry because it's getting a lot colder so the skin around my nails are less than perfect.
(Does anyone know a really good hand moisturiser for winter?)

More pics and what I used after the jump...

Outfit of the Day: Blake Lively

Blake Lively

Wearing a dress from Lanvin's 2011 Spring presentation.

The caramel leather harness accented with a crystal and pearl insect brooch.
Let's be honest with a body like Blake's any dress is going to look amazing.
I really like that she didn't add a lot of accessories, it would have made it way too much.

Aren't these brown leather studded shoes amazing?
Perfect winter nail polish shade too!

Barry M Haul

I bought a little Barry M haul recently, I'm pretty much always amazed at Barry M products, they're such a cheap brand and they are so pigmented it's ridiculous!

Barry M Dazzle Dusts:
My favorites are Petrol Black and Chocolate.
*If you would like to see swatches, please leave a comment, and I'd be happy to oblige!*

Mini Haul

This leopard print bag is huge!
I love it, I bought two, I'm sure there's someone who I can give it as a gift for Christmas.

More of my haul items after the jump!

Hello.....Kitty!

Gorgeous right?!
I'm a sucker for Hello Kitty, it must appeal to little girly girl that's still in here somewhere!
I think this watch is sooo pretty, it's off ebay, and was super cheap.

Most Wanted

Essence Nail Polish
in No.66 'Most Wanted'
-from the 'multi dimension xxxl shine' range.

This is what it looks like with a clear base coat, then 2 coats of Most Wanted and then a clear top coat.
I really like it, it's a brown/purple shade.
Very fitting colour for winter!

Another new bag....Yes I know I need help!

So......another new bag, I don't feel guilty because it was a gift! ^-^
I absolutely love it.
The photo doesn't do it justice, the colour is more of a brown/grey taupey shade.
But I'm not too sure about the little ribbon and lace thing dangling from the handle.
What do you think?

Scent of the month

Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf

I really have been getting through this bottle very quickly!

It has notes of tea, bergamot, sambac jasmine, orange tree, catleya orchid, freesia, rose, and amber, musk, and patchouli.

This quote from nstperfume.com captures it perfectly....
"It starts with lots of sugar candy and a bit of citrus, and dries down to a sweet, slightly vanillic dessert of amber and patchouli. It is very smooth and creamy, with no hard edges. There are some flowers along the way, but they are not assertive."

I adore it, it might be a bit sickly sweet for some people but it quickly tones down to a much more wearable scent.
